A hospital in Tacoma, WA is looking to hire Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to cover all outpatient Ambulatory, General, Orthopedics (No Spines), GYN, Podiatry, Urology, ENT, and Cardiac.

Qualifications of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):

  • Active WA CRNA License

  • Board Certification required

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification through American Heart Association

Duties/Responsibilities of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):

  • Conduct patient assessments prior to anesthesia treatment.

  • Provide anesthesia care for outpatient ambulatory surgical procedures

  • Administer anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics (no spine cases), gynecology, podiatry, urology, ENT, and cardiac device placement procedures.

  • Manage anesthesia for same-day surgical cases with patient discharge following the procedure.

  • Provide anesthesia support for PACU procedures requiring moderate sedation

  • No GI or neurosurgery cases.
