A hospital in Walnut Creek, CA is looking to hire Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to cover general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, plastics, vascular, and podiatry (with robotic and laparoscopic variations for most of these cases) and healthy pediatrics.

  • Active California CRNA License

  • Board Certification required

  • Proficiency in EPIC

  • COVID vaccine and one booster required

  • 1-year CRNA experience within the last three years required

Duties/Responsibilities of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):

  • Conduct patient assessments prior to anesthesia treatment.

  • Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process and recovery.

  • Prepare and administer anesthesia medication via injection, inhalation, or oral medication.

  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery.

  • Oversee patients' safety as they recover from anesthesia.

  • Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.

  • Document patient care in medical records.

  • Keep up-to-date on the latest anesthesia practices and procedure
