Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician for a Medical Center in Venice, California. These positions are a 6-month locum tenens term with the ability to extend.

Qualifications of Family Practice Physician:

  • Active CA License required

  • 2 years experience of required

  • Spanish speaking strongly preferred

  • ACLS, BLS required

  • Board Certified

Duties/Responsibilities of Family Practice Physician:

  • Provide outpatient primary care services to a patient panel of 18 patients per day

  • Perform common primary care procedures (biopsies, sutures, etc.)

  • Deliver care across all age groups (pediatrics through geriatrics)

  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and charting (1 hour of admin time daily)

  • Work collaboratively with a full support team (MAs, patient care associates, front office, and practice manager)

  • Maintain compliance with facility protocols and quality standards

  • Participate in team-based care and contribute to a culture of collaboration and excellence
