Location: Highland Park, CA (los Angeles)
Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) – Outpatient / Telemedicine
Term: Direct Hire
Shift Schedule: Mon- Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $80-$85/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on providing telemedicine services to a diverse and underserved patient population in a mission-driven outpatient setting.

Qualifications of Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or PHysician Assistant:
Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
Completion of a CA Board of Registered Nursing-approved NP program (NPs only)
Minimum one (1) year of experience in urgent care (training rotations do not qualify)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (able to conduct full assessments without an interpreter)
CA DEA Certification
PA/NP Board Certificate
Controlled Substance Certificate (required for PA)
Duties of Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or PHysician Assistant:
Conduct telemedicine visits for primary and preventive care
Manage a high-volume patient panel (approximately 35–40 patients per day)
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plan
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Deliver culturally competent, patient-centered care
