Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) – Outpatient
Term: Direct Hire
Shift Schedule: Mon- Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $80-$85/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center in Wilmington, CA. This role focuses on providing primary and preventative care to underserved and uninsured populations in a collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient setting.

Qualifications of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner:
Active California Nurse Practitioner license
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
Minimum one (1) year of experience (training rotations do not qualify)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (able to conduct full assessments without an interpreter)
CA DEA Certification
NP Board Certificate
Master’s Program Diploma
Duties of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner:
Provide comprehensive women’s health and primary care services in an outpatient setting
Manage a daily patient load of approximately 20–24 patients
Perform physical exams, preventative screenings, and routine check-ups
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care plans
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, specialists, and social workers
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Deliver culturally competent, patient-centered care
