Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Oncology Nurse Practitioner to fill a vacancy in Portland, OR. These positions are 6-month locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Qualifications of Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP):

  • Active OR Nurse Practitioner License  

  • Board Certified  

  • COVID vaccine and one booster required 

Duties/Responsibilities of Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP):

  • Conduct follow-up visits for oncology patients at 3-, 6-, and 12-month intervals. 

  • Manage care for patients currently undergoing treatment (depending on provider scope). 

  • Coordinate with ancillary services via email and internal communication platforms. 

  • Order oncology-related tests, labs, and imaging as needed. 

  • Review and refill prescriptions in accordance with treatment plans. 

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate. 

  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding ongoing treatment.
