A hospital in Huntingdon, PA is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to provide coverage for a variety of surgical cases, including General, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Endoscopy. Patient population is pediatric and adult.

Qualifications of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):

• Active PA CRNA license

• Board Certification

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS

• 2 years experience or at least 1 year working independently

Duties/Responsibilities of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):

• Conduct pre-anesthesia patient assessments.

• Educate patients and families on anesthesia and post-procedure recovery.

• Administer anesthesia through various methods (injection, inhalation, or oral medication).

• Monitor patients during surgery and adjust anesthesia as needed.

• Ensure patient safety during anesthesia recovery.

• Maintain and operate anesthesia equipment.

• Document all patient care and anesthesia records in the Cerner EMR system.
