A medical center in San Francisco, California is looking for radiation oncology physician assistants or nurse practitioners to provide additional coverage for increased patient load. The majority of the patient volume is focused in breast and genitourinary (GU) oncology, along with symptom management and long term follow up care.

Qualifications of Radiation Oncology NP/PA:

• Active CA, NP/PA License

• DEA

• BLS Certification

• 2-3 years recent Oncology experience

Duties/Responsibilities of Radiation Oncology NP/PA:

• Provide follow-up care for oncology patients

• Manage symptom management visits and long-term follow-up care

• Support emergent add-on patient needs

• Serve as the first line of contact for patient escalation, follow-up concerns, and urgent issues

• Manage in-basket messages and patient-related communication

• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, who will handle new patient consults
