Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Gastroenterology for an Acute Care hospital in Bellingham, WA. Providers will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings and primarily focus on general GI procedures.

Qualifications of Gastroenterologist:

• Active MD or DO Washington License required

• BLS and ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• COVID Vaccine Required

• 2 years of experience

Duties of Gastroenterologist:

• Provide gastroenterology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Perform required procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, Flex Sig, Dilation, and General GI procedures

• See patients in a clinic setting and at a secondary clinic location nearby

• Perform rounding, admissions, and procedures as required

• Scope patients in an outpatient endoscopy center/ambulatory surgery center

• Fill outpatient hospital blocks weekly for patients not suitable for the endoscopy center

• Take 24-hour General GI call as required

• Manage an outpatient endoscopy center caseload of approximately 14-16 patients per day

• Care for adult patients 18 and older
