Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Gastroenterologist for a temporary assignment at medical center in Bellingam, WA. This role includes performing colonoscopies and EGDs, as well as providing inpatient consults and follow-up care. The provider will work closely with hospital staff to deliver high-quality gastrointestinal care.

Qualifications of Gastroenterologist:

  • Current WA Physician license

  • DEA

  • BLS and ACLS Certification

  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology

  • 2 years of experience

Duties of Gastroenterologist:

  • Provide comprehensive GI care to adults (18+) in an outpatient setting

  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs

  • Evaluate and manage inpatient consults, including diagnosis and treatment planning

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams to ensure continuity of care

  • Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
