Shift Schedule: 8:00AM - 8:00PM x 3
Pay Rate: $100/hour
Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for a full-time role at an urgent care clinic in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role will include providing urgent care services with a focus on triaging and treating higher acuity patients of all ages.

QUALIFICATIONS of Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:
Active New York Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
Connecticut NP/PA License Preferred
Board Certification
DEA
COVID vaccine
ACLS, PALS, BLS Certifications
2+ years of urgent care experience
Duties/Responsibilities of Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:
Provide urgent care services with a focus on triaging and treating higher acuity patients
Collaborate with support staff and supervising physician
Document patient encounters accurately
Adhere to shift schedule and provide flexible coverage as needed
Treat patients that require urgent care procedures such as x-rays, sutures, and EKG tests
