Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay Rate: $130/hour
Astrya Global is seeking a Licensed Psychologist for a full-time Behavioral Health Manager (QAPI) contract opportunity in Napa, CA. This leadership role oversees behavioral health quality, compliance, utilization review, data reporting, and documentation while supporting regulatory and Medi-Cal requirements.
The Behavioral Health Manager will provide leadership across quality and operational functions, ensuring behavioral health services remain compliant, well-documented, and audit-ready.

Qualifications of Behavioral Health Manager:
Active California Psychologist license required
Experience managing behavioral health quality, compliance, or managed care operations
Understanding of Medi-Cal regulations and performance standards
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and supervisory staff
Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality improvement processes
Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and oversee implementation
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to coordinate quality efforts across multiple programs
County behavioral health experience strongly preferred
Duties/Responsibilities of Behavioral Health Manager:
Oversee behavioral health quality, compliance, and managed care operations.
Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain audit readiness and coordinate external reviews.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
Oversee utilization review, authorizations, and documentation standards.
Strengthen Medi-Cal documentation and claiming practices.
Monitor access, utilization, and performance data.
Oversee required state reporting and data collection.
Lead quality, utilization review, and administrative teams.
Identify compliance gaps and implement workflow improvements.
