This role will include providing urgent care services with a focus on triaging and treating higher acuity patients of all ages.

Qualifications of Urgent Care Nurse practitioner or Physician assistant (NP/PA):

• Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License

• Board Certification

• BLS and ACLS Certification

• Proficiency in EPIC

• COVID vaccine preferred

• 1 year Urgent Care experience within the last 3 years required

Duties/Responsibilities of Urgent Care Nurse practitioner or Physician assistant (NP/PA):

• Provide urgent care services with a focus on triaging and treating higher acuity patients

• Collaborate with support staff and supervising physician

• Document patient encounters accurately

• Adhere to shift schedule and provide flexible coverage as needed

• Treat patients that are experiencing dizziness, chest pains, cardiac care, or need Imaging and Labs
