This role includes performing colonoscopies and EGDs, as well as providing inpatient consults and follow-up care. The provider will work closely with hospital staff to deliver high-quality gastrointestinal care.

Qualifications of Gastroenterologist:

• Current PA Physician license

• DEA Certification 

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology

• 2 years of experience

Duties of Gastroenterologist:

• Provide comprehensive GI care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in an acute care setting

• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs

• Evaluate and manage inpatient consults, including diagnosis and treatment planning

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams to ensure continuity of care

• Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
