Setting: Detention Centers (FT Float)
Term: Permanent
Shift Schedule: Wed – Sun (7pm-4am) or Fri – Mon (7pm-4am)
Pay Rate: $38-$50/hour
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency is looking for Radiology Technologists that will float between detention centers in San Diego, CA. The Radiology Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging — including annual TB screening — across multiple San Diego County detention facilities.

Qualifications of a Radiology Technologist:
Current, unrestricted CRT license (CDPH-RHB)
Valid CPR/BLS card
1+ year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Valid CA driver's license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation — regular travel between facilities required
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance at all assigned San Diego County Sheriff's Office facilities
Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force; stand/walk as needed; regular driving between sites
Preferred: AART registration
Preferred: Correctional healthcare experience
Duties/Responsibilities of a Radiology Technologist:
Perform diagnostic X-rays and annual TB screenings.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Rotate between assigned detention facilities.
Verify patient identity and explain procedures.
Document exams in the electronic health record (EHR).
Coordinate daily imaging schedules.
Maintain radiology equipment and supplies.
Follow radiation safety and infection control standards.
Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with providers and facility staff.
Ensure compliance with state and County requirements.
Support quality improvement and accreditation standards.
Adapt to changing priorities and facility needs.
