Location: Los Angeles, CA
Setting: Hospital
Term: 3 months with a potential for extension
Shift Schedule: 3x12 (Night shifts)
Pay Rate: $260/hour
Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for experienced CRNAs to provide weekday and weekend coverage, including 12-hour night shifts. This role serves a high-acuity, underserved adult population (primarily ASA III+), largely Spanish-speaking, with limited access to preventative care. These positions are 6-month locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Qualifications of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
Active California CRNA license
Board Certification
Proficiency in Cerner EMR
2 Years Experience
Duties/Responsibilities of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
Provide anesthesia care for a high-acuity adult patient population (primarily ASA III+)
Perform OB anesthesia services, including C-sections and labor epidurals (required)
Deliver anesthesia for a broad case mix including GI, Neurology, GYN, and Interventional Radiology
Manage “bread-and-butter” cases independently; no cardiac or transplant cases
Conduct independent pre-operative evaluations, assessments, and patient workups
Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to medically complex patients
Work within a care-team model, collaborating 1:1 with a physician anesthesiologist
Serve as the sole CRNA on site during assigned shifts, ensuring safe and efficient coverage
Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage post-anesthesia recovery and handoffs
Provide culturally competent care to a primarily Spanish-speaking, underserved population
