Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency is looking for Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists for a Psychiatric Mental Illness Outpatient Clinic in San Mateo, CA. In this temp to perm role, you will be responsible for providing personalized, compassionate, and high-quality SMI care.

Qualifications of Licensed Clinical Social Work or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LCSW/LMFT):
Current California LCSW or LMFT License
1 year of experience working with patients with severe mental illness
Evidence-based intervention experience including CBT, DBT, MI
Strong listening and communication skills
Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism
Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards
Duties/Responsibilities of Licensed Clinical Social Work or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LCSW/LMFT):
Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients
Provide continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in person and on occasion, virtually
Deliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around care model
Collaborate with patient care teams and with behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to care
Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of various social determinants of health
Provide consultation to therapists on the treatment team, which may include licensed therapists as well as trainees, as well as assisting with program development.
