Qualifications of RECREATION THERAPIST:

  • Current National or CA Recreation Therapist Certification

  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association

  • 1 year of experience as a Recreation Therapist

Duties/Responsibilities of RECREATION THERAPIST:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement recreation therapy programs

  • Assess patient needs through observations, medical records, tests, and discussions with other healthcare professionals

  • Develop treatment plans and interventions based on assessment findings

  • Encourage patients to participate in therapeutic activities

  • Document and evaluate patient progress

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
